The Australian Allied Health Awards bring together the nation’s finest Allied Health professionals to recognise their work and dedication.
A Physiotherapist on a mission, Ibrahim has been nominated for his commitment to therapy hygiene. Through his experience in public and private allied health sectors, Ibrahim saw first-hand the lack of guidance and guidelines surrounding hygiene during treatment. In particular, he noticed the infectiveness of using cradle paper and towels as standard practice during prone treatments.
Ibrahim launched Purifas® in October 2019 with a vision to re-define standards in therapy hygiene and help therapists improve their duty of care.
